Rowad Society for Social Development completed the project of rehabilitating the homes of the poor, targeting a home belonging to the FA family in the northern Gaza governorate. This project is funded by the support of Viva Palestine Malaysia Foundation. The project targets the homes of Palestinian families in the various governorates of the Gaza Strip.

The implementation of this project is part of the humanitarian and relief efforts of Rowad, which is implemented at the Strip level, where the staffs of Rowad made an initial visit to the house (F.A) and identify the needs of this family. The family includes 3 members of the poor suffering from poverty and difficult conditions. The family needs to change the worn metal roofs that cover their house completely and Rowad has worked to install new metal roofs for them.

For its part, the family expressed its satisfaction with the initial assistance of the installation of the new metal roofs in the hope of the Assembly and the benefactors to complete the restoration of their home, especially as the family home of (F.A) needs to install doors and windows and complete the finishing and shortening work as well as the installation of tiles.

Mr.Abosido, the society’s executive manager, thanked all the members of Viva Malaysia for their joint efforts in the implementation of such programs that support the steadfastness of the Palestinian families, especially in light of the difficult current conditions experienced by the Strip under the successive crises.
