As a part of its visits, the delegation of Rowad Association for Community Development has visited the main office of Al Aqsa Association in Belgium. The delegation included both Dr. Majed Yassin and Mr. Osama Abdu, who met the executive manager of Al Aqsa Association Mr. Yahiya Marzoqi and the members of the board of directors.

Mr. Yassin stated that this visit springs from the association’s policy in creating networks with the charity societies and the international donors abroad in order to seek donation for the developmental and relief projects sponsored by the association which aims at supporting greater numbers of the poor in the Gaza Strip.

During the visit, Mr. Abdu reviewed the critical situation that people of Gaza undergo in the Gaza Strip, especially under the strict siege imposed for more than eight years. He also talked about the projects and programs implemented by the association and serve many sectors of the Palestinian people which all aim to alleviate the suffering of our people financially and morally, especially through implementing the month of Ramadan’s projects such as food parcels, Iftars, Eid clothes and Zakat Al Eid.  Then, Mr. Abdu talked about the development projects such as workshops and training courses which implemented by the association’s Jabalia Youth Development Center JYDC in order to support and brush up on the skills of both the Palestinian youth and the newly graduates. He also mentioned that the association has finished implementing Rowad summer camps two days ago where 100 of youth and young participated in.
