As a part of its summer camps , Rowad implements a series of training courses

Rowad Association for Community Development has finished implementing a series of training courses within Rowad summer camps for kids’ level, where twenty-nine children participated in the sessions.

 

Mr. Mohammed Kahlout , the trainer of the courses, said that the training courses are going to last for one week and is going to include theoretical, practical and behavioral skills in addition to psychological debrief for kids. The first day entitled "self-confidence" learning through which children break the barrier of shame and revive the spirit of competition and build self-esteem, mutual trust and the development of confidence in mental capacity. The second day includes different practices of daily life in which children learn how to strengthen the spirit of participation and methods of psychological debrief and promote the spirit of participation and effective competition through the implementation of a range of activities and educational games entertainment that reinforce the talents and abilities of children.

 

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, executive manager of the association, pointed on the importance of these courses that will improve the behaviors of the kids and the promotion of good behavior and evaluate the bad behaviors, and equip them with life skills and art of communication and emotions control. Abu Sido went on saying that the association is going to continue implementing such courses in order to develop the coming generation comprehensively and qualifies them to move forward in the midst of life to be productive and active in the community and be able to change and influence.
