Rowad Society for Social Development is still implementing Winter Clothes project that has been started since a week in the Gaza Strip. This project is funded by Zakat Foundation of America and Sadaqa Tasi institution where hundredrs of poor families benefit. The winter clothes include: coat, sports suit, pants, blouse, shoes, gloves and scarf. Rowad seeks to implement such projects in order to help the needy families and children and to draw smiles on their faces.

Eng. Yasser Alshanty, the society’s vice president, said that this project is one of the most important seasonal projects that society seeks to implement each year to provide the poor families with their needs and to make them happy. He also added that Rowad will make contacts with good people and donors abroad to support the steadfastness of the besieged Palestinians.

For his side, Eng. Mohammed Abosido, the society’s manger, called for intensifying efforts and offering the greatest needs of the poor. He also thanked Zakat Foundation of America and Sadqa Tasi institution for their efforts in serving the Palestinians.
