In response to the urgent appeal of the people of the besieged Gaza, which is now experiencing a devastating war that affects everything and everybody, and in cooperation with the philanthropists from Arab Algeria, Rowad Association for Community Development has implemented a project of food parcels and the generous donation of philanthropists and charity in the city of Tlemcen, Algeria. The project includes distributing food packages for the families affected and displaced by the savage and barbaric aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Mohamed Abu Sido, the director of the association stated that the implementation of the urgent relief package project aims to alleviate the suffering of our people trapped in the Gaza Strip who are in this now facing a fierce war wiped out the rocks and trees. They are facing great hardship to provide for a living, as a result of the continuation of the siege and the deterioration of the economic situation which put most of Gazan families in abject poverty circle. Also, Abu Sido confirmed that the association is going to stand by the side of all poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering, calling at the same time, all institutions, charities and philanthropists and charity to support poor family and extend a helping hand to them.

Abu Sido noted that in these days the association trys its best to deliver aid to a large number of needy families in the areas of aggression and frontier areas, which are now facing a continuing Israeli bombardment, via coordination with several international parties, in order to deliver aid to the poor and displaced by the bombing in order to protect its  operational working staff, where an increase in the number of displaced Palestinian families and can not secure their minimum daily living and lack  their basic necessities. These familie need to be aided and supported not only in the month of Ramadan, but in all other months.
