Rowad A ssociation for Community Development today has finished distributing the sums of sponsorships for the month of May of the current year 2014 with a generous fund from philanthropists and benefactors in the State of Libya.

The Director Mohamed Abu Sido, the distribution of these guarantees comes along the Association's endeavors , with a kind donation from philanthropists, to support the orphans and widows of martyrs  to overcome the critical financial crisis that Palestinians of Gaza are undergoing now.

At the same time, Mr. Abu Sido stresses that the association will continue to distribute aid in cash and kind to the orphans in line with the objectives of the association and its noble humanitarian mission in light of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and in order to alleviate the commercial burdens of them.

From their part, the poor families expressed their thanks and appreciation to the association and generous philanthropists for their ongoing aid for the families of martyrs and orphans of the Palestinian people.

It is worth mentioning that Rowad association has received a delegation of “Miles of Smiles Convoy 26”, which included Dr. Abdul Muneim Khurisha from the state of Libya. The aim of the visit was to enhance cooperation between both parties in order to serve larger sectors of the Palestinian people.
