Rowad Association for Community Development yesterday distributed of large quantities of meat to the poor and needy families in the area of Gaza City, where the number of beneficiaries was twenty poor families.

The distribution of meat in the context of the association’s efforts to ease the economic burden on the poor and needy families in light of the deteriorating economic situation as a result of the continued Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip which for years, and in line with its policy to enable poor families a decent life.

Mohammed Abu Sido,the director of the association, said  that his association continues to serve poor family in all fields, especially the areas of relief and will make every effort to provide all of its assistance and services. Also, he stressed on Rowad Association’s commitment towardsthose poor families with all it possess in order to support their steadfastness and ease their suffering , calling at the same time, all institutions, charities and philanthropists to support  and extend a helping hand to the poor.a

From their part, the poor families expressed their thanks and appreciation to the association for its efforts and requested the other charities to keep looking after them.

It is worth mentioning that the association ended during the last few days of Ramadan projects from distributing Zakat Al Fitr.
