In addition to the 2017 series of Ramadan programs, Rowad Society for Social Development distributed dozens of fresh vegetables packages to the needy families of Gaza City within the campaign of Gurrass Al-Khayre of Ramadan 2. .

Mr. Rabah Bakhit, Rowad's  Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that the project of vegetables parcels is part of a series of projects that the Rowad is working on during the month of Ramadan, which includes food meals, Eid clothes , Zakat al-Fitr, ALMS,  Iftar on the road and other charitable programs.

Bakhit also stressed that his society continues  to serve the deprived family in all fields, especially the relief fields, and it will make all the possible efforts to provide the assistance and services it can offer to the needy families.  He confirmed  that the society stands by poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering under the  siege that has been continuing  for the 11th year in a row, calling on all organizations, charities, philanthropists to support the poor families and provide them with support and assistance. Bakhit said that the parcels of vegetables, which contains 14 food items, are considered as an urgent aid for the poor families, especially during Ramadan where food is highly needed.
