Rowad society for community development distributed the lighting networks of homes "Leds" to dozens of poor families in Gaza city, as a part of the project of the safe lighting which is implemented by Rowad society and funded by Tripoli society for Relief and Culture in the sister Republic of libya.

The executive director of the society Eng. Mohamed Abou Seedo said that this project came because of the responsibility of the society towards the Gazans who are suffering from the tightened siege especially after the 16 hour power shortage in the recent times. The project is to ease the home crisis which are subjected to burning because of the traditional lighting "candles", which therefore exacerbates our people's suffering.
