A delegation from ‘RowadSociety for Social Developmen’ visited AlRanteesy Children Hospital. The delegation was represented by Dr. MagedYassin, Mr. MajedAlZebda’The Assembly Secretary’, Mr. Mohammed Abu Sedo ‘The General Manager’, Eng. Mohammed Khalil ‘TheRelief Coordinator’; in order to check on health and social conditions of children with chronic diseasesincluding kidney and blood diseases and tumors.

The delegation was received by Hospital Administration, which consisted of: Dr. Mustafa AlEila ‘Hospital Director’, Mr. Ehab Abu Sama’n ‘The Managing Director’, Mr. Ma’roofAlAskary’Director of Nursing’.

Dr. Mustafa AlEilatalked in brief about hospital establishment and operating despite simple facilities, clarifying that the hospital has seven specialized departments such as: Tumors, Binoculars, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Respiratory, Cardiology and Neurology department and Dialysis which is considered to be the first department in the Gaza Strip.

The visit included a tour inside the hospital departments to check on sick children and give them gifts through a number of clowns and puppets; to draw a smile on their innocent faces.

This visit received acceptance, welcoming and happiness among sick children and their families who expressed their appreciation to Rowad efforts.

In addition to that, Dr. AlEila thanked the delegation for their generous visit, hoping to continue the communications and relations between the two institutions and to continue the services; he also thanked the society’s role in servicing the Palestinian society. Besides, Mr. Abu Sedo confirmed that this visit comes within a frame to strengthen the relation with all formal and local institutions in the besieged Gaza Strip.
