Rowad society for social development has concluded a project of slaughter and distribution of sacrificial meat to the poor and needy families for the year 2015, where thousands of poor and needy families benefited from this project in the Gaza Strip.

Mr.Rabah Bekhit,the society president, said that this project based on distributing sacrificial meat to the poor, unemployed, needy, orphans, wounded and disabled indicating that this project is one of the society roles to help the marginalized and needy people in the Gaza Strip.

He said that sacrificial meat project is one of the important and social projects that Rowad society implement s each year with cooperation with supporting societies, NGOs, charity institutions and partners in the Gaza Strip.

Mohammed Abo sido, the society director, thanked from the depth of his heart all the supporting  institutions  and don ors for this project, and they are:
Khayrat, Al-Sadaqa Tashi and Yateem Dar institutions in Turky, good people from Constantine and Tlemcen provinces in Algeria, good people in Jordan, Viva Falestina Malaysia –Gaza office, Human Appeal Intel. UAE and Omani initiative and others.

Families that benefited from this project thanked Rowad society for its continuous efforts in all the domains ,especially for its efforts in implementing sacrificial meat project for this year.

Rowas consider the sacrificial meat project is one of the important seasonal projects from humanitarian and  religious point of view that achieve the social solidarity in the Palestinian community.

Rowad society implements this project annually as it is a responsibility towards the besieged Palestinian people.
