Rowad Community Development Association implemented the yesterday Eid gifts project, which included the distribution of fifteen thousand pieces of clothes in favor of the 800 poor families in Gaza City, the distribution of these clothes comes as a part of Takaful charity campaign launched by the association mid-July of the current year, which aimed to consolidate the values ​​of social solidarity and humanitarian compassion between all sectors of Palestinian society in the holy month of Ramadan and make them feel of each other and belike the body. Once an organ falls sick, all the other organs are affected and have insomnia and fever, especially under siege and the difficult conditions and the continuing closures of crossings, as well as establish the concept of voluntary work among the young participants in the campaign and also help poor and disadvantaged families in this holy month.

In his turn, Mohammed Abu Sido, the director of the association, stressed on the importance of this initiative since it provides the poor families with new clothes before the advent of Eid Al fitr. He added that these initiatives and activities aim at supporting the poor families and relieving the suffering of the Palestinian people. And he said that the association is going to implement this campaign at the level of Gaza Strip in the coming months.

From their part, the sponsored poor families expressed their thanks and appreciation for the directors’ and Rowad’s contribution in providing them a good living in this holy month and demandedtheir constant efforts to mitigate their suffering.

It is worth mentioning that the Association has finished distributing of tens of food parcels for the poor and disadvantaged families in Khan Yunis city.
