Within context of field visits to help the poor of Gaza’s project, Rowad Society for Social Development has distributed on Wednesday evening, a group of in-kind and food aid to  a number of very poor and needy families in Gaza.

This project is considered as a complementary stage for the relief efforts done by Rowad to alleviate the difficult life conditions from which the Gaza suffer and to strengthen the social values by carrying out relief programs and projects.

This comes of the project to complement the relief efforts carried out by the pioneers of Association for Community Development to ease the suffering of sheltered families in difficult and poor living conditions suffered by the population of the Gaza Strip, as well as establish and consolidate social solidarity and humanitarian compassion through these programs and projects relief values.


For his side, Mohammed Abu Sido, the society’s manager, explained that they chosen the houses after studying well  their economic and living conditions as they considered as uninhabitable houses. Mr. Abosido expressed his deep sadness for the painful scenes that he witnessed in these houses as there are worn and unbearable in summer for high temperature or in winter for rain leaks. He also said that Rowad will do its best to help those poor families with all its facilities calling all good people for doing efforts and offering aid to draw smiles on the faces of those poor and needy people.

He also appealed all good people from various Arab and Islamic countries to stand by the people of Gaza to provide humanitarian aid , especially with the holy month of Ramadan, referring to the great scarcity of aid reaches the people of Gaza from the outside.

It is worth mentioning that Rowad Society for Social Development targeted dozen of needy families in this project and it will complete this project within this year. The families thanked Rowad for this nice attitude and for all what it has offered them.
