As a part of itshost of seasonal projects allocated for the month of Ramadan, Rowad Association for Community Development has implemented theFood Parcels Project. The  project includes distributingfive hundred food parcels for the  poor families in the city of Gaza

Mr. Rabah Bakhit, Chairman of the Board, stated that the food parcels project comes as a partof a series of projects carried out by the association during the month of Ramadan, which included collectiveIftars, sponsoring poor families and orphans as well.

Mr. Bakhit stated that his association is trying to support the poor families at all levels especially in the field of relief and do the best to offer assistance and services.Also, Bakhit confirmed that his association will always stand by the side of the poor with all means to fasten their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering.And he invitesother benevolent people and associations to support the poor and disadvantaged, especially in the holy month of RamadanMr. Bakhit cleared that the association is preparing for distribution of Zakat al-Fitr on poor families in the coming days.

From their part, the sponsored poor families expressed their thanks and appreciation for the directors’ and Rowad’s contribution in providing them a good living in this holy monthand demandedtheir constant efforts to mitigate their suffering.

It is worth mentioning that the Association has distributed tens of food parcels for the poor and disadvantaged families in the Gaza Strip with a generous fund of Al Rahma Association for Relief and Development.
