Rowad Society for Social Development is still implementing the project of Warm Winter that is implemented each winter. For the second day in a row, Rowad distributed the winter clothes (Coat, pants, sport suit, shoes, gloves, hat and scarf) in Rafah governorate.

Mr.Rabah Bekhiet, the society's president, said that the Gaza Strip suffers from a significant rise in poverty and unemployment's rates as there are about 90% of families who live below poverty line under the continuous Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for 11 years in a row.

He said that Rowad does its best and makes contacts with good people abroad to alleviate the sufferings of needy families. He also added;" We do our best to support needy families and to deliver donations to those who really needy them and Winter Clothes project is one of the seasonal projects implemented by the society.

Mr.Mohammed Abosido, the society's manager, indicated that Rowad will implement the project in the rest of the Strip's governorates.
