Rowad finishes Psychological and Social Support project for children

Rowad Association for Community Development, in association with Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, finished Psychological and Social Support project for children of Gaza. The project targeted children of age 9 to 13 years whose houses were shelled in the last invasion on the Strip, and they witnessed such brutality and the killing of their families.

The project implementation comes as part of the association's policy that aims at strengthening psychological and social support through activities and programs that relieve their stresses.

Mr. Rabah Bekhet, head of the association, stated that the association gives much attention to children and this project is part of its developmental programs to serve Gazan children. He added that the project is compatible with association's policy in supporting psychological and social events and other efforts to alleviate children stresses via playing, entertainment, lectures and discussion.  Rowad works on implementing this project within this year.

From their side, the children were very happy about the project and they called upon more activities reduce their tension and stress.
