Rowad implements a lecture entitled "The Dangers of excavation on Al Aqsa Mosque"

Rowad Association for Community Development finished a lecture entitled "The Dangers of excavation on Al Aqsa Mosque" for the youth. The lecture comes within Pioneers program for young people and it was attended by 24 persons.

Dr. Mohammed Al Kahlot, the lecturer in the Islamic University of Gaza, said that this lecture aimed at giving a glance about the history of Al Aqsa Mosque and the old city, besides some information about the dangers that surround the mosque. The lecture included many aspects as historical milestones, names of the holy city over the history, the religious significance of the city, the excavations and settling projects, the Jewish neighborhood, closing Al Buraq gate and the settlements.

Form his side, Mohammed Abu Sido, director of the association , thanked Dr. Al Kahlot for his magnificent presentation. He referred to the importance of understanding the history of Al Aqsa Mosque by young generations, in addition to the practices of judaizing, excavations and banning Muslims to pray there. Abu Sido invited the youth to transfer this information to their families and friends to let everybody know what happens to Al Aqsa Mosque. Moreover, he added that we aim to motivate efforts to protect the mosque and provide what we can give.

It is worth mentioning that Rowad finished lately a course in "How to deal with others" for young people and juniors in Gaza City.
