Rowad Association for Community Development received an Algerian delegation, works in relief field, in its office in Gaza. The delegation came to Gaza within "Miles of Smiles 22 Convoy" and it included 6 body corporate as Mr. Yussef Ajesa, head of the delegation, Taher Rashed, Balasem Ouisi, Qawadia Rabeh, Buras Ibrahim and Luni Mohammed.

Mr. Rabah Bekhet, head of board of directors, Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, director of the association, Dr. Majed Yassen, Mr. Raed Al Saati and members of board of directors were in the reception of the delegation.   

Mr. Bekhet welcomed the delegation and he gave them a brief background about the association and its scope of work in developmental programs. He explained that such visit comes to consolidate cooperation between Rowad and local and international organizations concerned with providing Palestinian with relief to continue their steadfastness.

Mr. Bekhet appreciated the attitude of the Algerian delegation that responded to the call of their brothers in Gaza and came to support them. He also praised the role of delegations that support relief and developmental projects in Gaza.

Mr. Al Saati showed the delegation short videos about the suffering of poor families in the Strip. He mentioned that Rowad sponsors monthly 30 families and he called upon the delegation to contribute in such charitable project.  

From his side, Mr. Ajesa said that they came to identify closely the needs of Gazans. He added, "What we offer for Gaza is not compared with sacrifices the Gazan people make". He added that they will be ambassadors of charity in their county to bring support for Gaza people.
