Rowad signs a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions
Rowad Association for Society Development – Palestine - signed a memorandum of understanding with the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions at its headquarters in Gaza City
The memorandum was signed by Mr. Rabah Bakhit, Chairman of Rowad, and Mr. Sami Amassi, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions
The signing ceremony was attended by: Mr. Raed Al-Saati treasurer of Rowad and the director Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido. And from the union, Mr. Nimr Al-Serhi, Director of Administrative Affairs and Mr. Rizk Khalaf, External Relations and Projects Officer
The memorandum seeks to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the two sides and to agree on a policy of joint work in serving and caring of workers through various projects and programs
Bakheet also explained that this memorandum is necessary for the cooperation and integration between the two sides in order to provide the local labor market with skilled and trained workers
Mr. Bakhit said that this memorandum intersects with the society's noble goal of excellence and leadership in the social integration of workers and empowerment of the economic, social and psychological of marginalized families to become active in the development of Palestinian society.
At the same time, he appreciated the role of the Union in embracing workers and supporting them.
