Rowad society for social development started today distributing orphan guarantees in the Gaza Strip. This project is funded by Khayrat institution- Turkey that offers 2100 US $ to be distributed to 73 orphans in different regions in the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Yasser Al-Shanty, society president deputy, said that they made researches and field visits in order to make sure of the orphans conditions. He also said that the projects, implemented by Rowad society and funded by the good people and charity institutions, aim to help the orphans and widows to come over the economic plight they live in.

Mr.Mohammed Abo Sido, the society director, confirmed that orphan program aims to support the social solidarity ,especially after the increase of orphans number after the Israeli occupation’s repeated attacks against the Palestinian people. He also said that Rowad society is working now to increase these activities that concern this category of the Palestinian people.
