With funding from the good people in Kuwait, Rowad Society for Social Development started implementing secure home lighting, using led lighting, for needy families in the West of Gaza.

Eng.Yasser Alshanti,the society’s vice president, said that this project is one of others that Rowad implements to help the besieged Palestinian people suffering from the siege and its sequences as the power cut. According to him, this project seeks to provide 25 needy families with led lightening.

For his side, Mr.Mohammed Abo Sido, the society’s director, said that Rowad society attaches great importance to the needy families to support them and strengthen their steadfastness, especially under these difficult conditions as the power goes off for more than 8 hours daily which causes many accidents due to the use of candles
