Arising from its sense of responsibility in helping the Palestinian people during these hard times of war and siege, Rowad Association for Community Development distributed hundreds of food parcels on poor families in Gaza city as a part of its project “food parcels” which is one of Rowad’s special project for the holy month of Ramadan.

The executive  manager of the association Mohammed Abu Sido  pointed out that the food parcels’ project  is the one of  Ramadan charity  projects which are going to be implemented in the coming days such as : Iftar project, zakat Al fitr project , poor families sponsorships and orphans sponsorships’ project.

Mr. Abu Sido also tackled the current security situation that the Gaza Strip is witnessing nowadays due to the Israeli ongoing aggression on the Palestinian people. It has negatively affected the ability association’s staff  to access to the poor families which live on near the north frontier borders of Gaza strip. He added that despite all of these difficult conditions, the association He also stressed on his association’s commitment towards supporting the needy families and serving the besieged Palestinian people at these critical times. Abu Sido also urged all the associations and philanthropists inside and outside Gaza Strips to support these poor families. 

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their full thanks and appreciation to Rowad for its generous donations, and urged it to continue its efforts to alleviate their suffering as a result of the siege and war.
