Rowad Association for Community Development has distributed some basic furniture which included coverlets and mats on a number of the needy families in Gaza city on this day.

This initiative springs from Rowad’s responsibility to look after the needy families, especially after the advent of the light rain on Palestine.  Therefore, Rowad staff visited a number of the special hardship cases, evaluated them and offered them with their needs.

The executive manager of the association, Mohammed Abu Sido stated that this distribution aims at alleviating the suffering of the needy families due to the suffocating siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, given the fact that it targets a large sector of abject poor in Gaza city.

Additionally, Mr. Abu Sido thanked the generous philanthropists and donors from the country of Libya for standing beside the besieged Palestinian people.

In the same context, the beneficiaries thanked Rowad  and urges the international community to hold it’s the responsibilities in supporting the poor and spreading the concepts of support and solidarity.
