On the basis on establishing bridges of cooperation with relief organizations, a delegation from Rowad Association for Community Development visited Qatar Charity Office in Gaza. The delegation included Mr. Rabah Bakhet, head of board of directors, members of the board, Mr. yaser Al Shanti, Dr. Majed Yassen and Mohammed Abu Side, director of Rowad and they were received by Mr. Ibrahim Al Zeel, director of Qatar office in Gaza.

Bakhet talked about the association, its establishment and its projects. He also talked about the endowments program that aims at establishing charitable endowments for poor families. Furthermore, he mentioned orphan and needy families sponsorships programs, in addition to students and patients aids projects. Bakhet concluded his talk saying that Rowad plans to implement some programs in Ramadan.   

From his side, Mr. Al Zeel thanked the delegation for the visit that strengthens the cooperation between relief associations. He also expressed his appreciation for the role that Rowad assumes in the Gaza Strip.

In the end of the visit, Rowad delegation presented an appreciation shield for Qatar Charity for its ongoing effort in supporting the Palestinian people.
