Funded by philanthropists from Jordan, "Rowad" establishes lighting networks to the poor northwest Gaza

Rowad Association for Community Development today established lighting networks "LED battery lights" for dozens of poor and marginalized families in the northwest area of the Gaza Strip, within the safe lighting networks project sponsored by the association with a generous fund from the philanthropists from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.



The executive manager of the Association of Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido said that this project springs from the association’s feeling of the responsibility that rests on its shoulders towards the Gazan people who are the suffering under the suffocating siege in the recent times which lead  to the increase of the power cut nearly 16 hours a day. Also, this project aims to ease homes crisis which burned because of traditional lighting used in poor households, and therefore exacerbates the suffering of our people.


Abu Sido explained that the project is a touch and fulfillment direction sheltered families in light of the tragic situation of the Gaza Strip, and the worsening crisis, which has made the Gaza Strip blacker a dark dispels hopes of the Palestinian people to live a dignified human life and carefree, praising at the same time supporters of the project, calling Other associations and institutions and all the well-wisher to follow suit in the Assembly support projects which aim to help the poor and affected groups of our people.



For their part, the beneficiaries of the project gave full their thanks and appreciation to Rowad Association and the donors in the Kingdom of Jordan', who continue to lend a helping hand and assistance to poor families and martyrs of the Palestinian people.



In a different context, Rowad Association last Wednesday opened a training course entitled young leaders and targeting the female graduates of colleges of education in the Gaza Strip.
