Funded by the Omani Initiative, Rowad distributes cash assistance on the poor

Rowad Association for Community Development has finished implementing the Cash assistance distribution project on the poor families. The project was funded by the Omani initiative to Support Palestine and it covered 35 poor families at the level of Gaza city.

 

The implementation of this project comes as a part of the ongoing relief projects implemented and sponsored by the association. To illustrate, the association has offered relief assistance for the residents of old shelters via providing them with winter requirement and tin plates.

 

Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, the director of the association, states that the distribution of these aids aims at alleviating the economic burdens falling upon the shoulders of the poor and needy families as a result of the ongoing Israeli `siege and the third fierce Israeli war on Gaza.


He stressed on the association’s unconditional support for these poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering. And he calls all other charities and philanthropists to offer them help.

 

Mr. Abu Sido stressed that the association will continue serving these families in all fields specially the ones related to relief and it will exert all its efforts in offering all available aids and services.

 

From their part, the poor families expressed their full thanks and appreciation for the association and the Omani Initiative and at the same time they call them to keep looking after them.
