In these difficult circumstances where Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip today undergo the continuation of the aggression on the day 17 respectively along with the ongoing siege and deteriorating general economic situation, Rowad Association for Community Development has finished implementing urgent cash aid project for the displaced and affected families, by the aggression on the level of Gaza City. The project was funded by the Omani initiative to advocate for Palestine.

Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, the director of the association, pointed out that the implementation of this project aims to alleviate the suffering of our people who are trapped in the Gaza Strip and facing these days a fierce war which destroyed everything and everybody, and who are facing great hardship to provide for a living, as a result of the ongoing siege for more than eight years which lead most of Gazan families into abject poverty. Also, Abu Sido confirmed that his associaiton will stand by the side of the poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering, calling at the same time, all institutions, charities and philanthropists and charity to the example of a course Oman's initiative to support the families which were affected and displaced due to the aggression, and need to be helped and supported.

Abu Sido added that these days the association was working on delivering aid to a large number of needy families in the targeted areas and frontier areas, which are under the ongoing Israeli bombardment via coordinating with several international parties.

It is worth mentioning that during the last few days, Rowad Association has finished the distribution of hundreds of iftar meals on the affected and displaced families in the Gaza strip, which was funded by a generous support of the Turkish Ihya Dar Foundation.
