Gaza under fire and shelling… destruction took place in all aspects of life… killing of children, women and civilians, this case the people of the Gaza Strip these days and this difficult and painful circumstances and forcing displacement for Day 16 respectively of the war on Gaza. In light of this suffering and this ethnic cleansing and a sense of responsibility towards the this disaster, Rowad Association for Community Development has implemented Iftar project, which includes the distribution of hundreds of Iftar meals on the families affected and displaced in shelters inside Gaza city as a result of the aggression . This was kindly funded by Viva Palestine -Malaysia.

Mr.Mohammed Abu Sido, director of the association, pointed out that the implementation of the Iftar project aims to alleviate the suffering of our people who are trapped in the Gaza Strip and facing these days a fierce war that destroyed everything and everybody, and who are facing great hardship to provide for a living, as a result of the continuation of the blockade which has lead most of Gazan families to abject poverty. Also, Abu Sido confirmed the association will stand by the side of the poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering, calling at the same time, all institutions, charities and philanthropists to follow Viva Palestine Foundation
