In Cooperation with the Palestinian Centre for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, Rowad inaugurates “Children early intervention Program”

In Cooperation with the Palestinian Centre for Democracy and Conflict Resolution, Rowad inaugurates “Children early intervention Program after 2014 war”. The project targets tens of male and female children whose ages are between nine and thirteen; their houses were targeted during the days of the aggression and witnessed the killing of their families by their own eyes.

 

The counselor and social animator Ms. Nahid Al Hadad said: “This project consists of sessions that include major axises. whcih also have: the core axis and the recreational axis. The core axis has the following programs: how to express yourself, the psychological intimacy of children, Know yourself, the sun also rises, imagine the best place, our safe village and a safe environment. Regarding the recreational axis, it includes: cat and rat, volley ball, the net and the fisherman, the mouse and I, the hurdle and the horse and the beautiful clock.  Ms. Al Haddad said after the end of the sessions , she noticed remarkable change on the performance and responses of the children .

 

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, the director of Rowad, said that “Rowad” is concerned about children spectrum, and this project matches with the association’s policy which aims at supporting children socially and psychologically via activities and events that would debrief the social pressure. It also tries to alleviate the psychological pressure via games, recreational activities, discussions and lectures.

It is worth mentioning that the association is implementing this project during the whole of this year.
