Smile prevails and hope revives

In Gaza, there are many sorts of suffering and pain. To illustrate, the people of Gaza suffer poverty and oppression in light of the rising percentages of poverty and unemployment alongwith the continued siege imposed by Israel since eight years in a row, and the recent war, which affected everything and everybody.
The vulnerable young children became homeless and lack the warmth and security as their bodies tremble, and their faces are pale. Their father is imprisoned and the mother is the breadwinner of the family.In a nutshell, this is the story of Ms. X’s family who lives Sheikh Radwan area of ​​Gaza City, and is belowthepoverty line and suffers from the deterioration of the economic situation

In a response for this suffering and a sense of responsibility that rests with the Assembly to help our people and stand by them, Rowad Association for Community Development to inspect this case, where the association offered to the family in-kind and cash assistance of gas cooking with gas jar in addition to two blankets, mat diet and food parcel, and the inclusion of the family name in-kind and cash periodic aid

Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, the director of the association, explained that the distribution of this aid comes in the context of the Rowad’s relentless efforts to ease the economic burden on the poor and needy families in the light of the deteriorating economic situation as a result of the continuation of the ongoing Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip years ago. He stressed on the association’s commitment towards the poor families in order to support their steadfastness and alleviate their suffering.
