In cooperation with Ibn Baz Society, Rowad holds a religious lecture for the householders of the orphans

Rowad Association for Community Development   RACD conducted a religious lecture for the householders of the orphans entitled “The lawful spending of the sponsorships” which was attended by the families of the orphans sponsored by RACD.

 

The speaker of the lecture, the Islamic preacher Mohammed Ad- Daya talked first about the reward of sponsoring  orphans in Islam, then talked about the lawful way in Islam to spend the amount of sponsorship in the light of what mentioned in the holy Quran and the prophetic tradition of prophet Mohammed . The lecturer, hereby, urged the families of the sponsored orphans to spend the sums of the monthly sponsorships according to the Islamic Sharia laws.

 

The executive manager of RACD , Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido, stressed on the importance of this gathering as it tackles the all respects of spending  the sums of monthly sponsorships according to the Islamic Sharia laws. He added that this lecture is going to correct some misconceptions related to the monthly sponsorships among the families of the orphans. Abu Sido added that this lecture springs from the association’s policy which aims at strengthening the relationship between the association and the families of orphans which shall not be based only on funding, but also on guiding.

 

In a separate context, a delegation from RACD met the head of the Benevolent Committee for Supporting the People of Palestine- France in order to build external relationships and have networking with other charity bodies abroad.
