Rowad  Association for Community Development  ended its summer camps by implementing a recreational  trip to Alwafaa swimming pool where thirty kids participated there.

The animator of the camp ,Mr. Mohammed Al Kahlout, stated that this journey aims at to entertain and psychologically debrief the kids, especially the poor who are deprived of hanging out due to the suffocating financial situation. He  added that the trip included many activities such as football match, physical exercises, recreational activities , swimming and open section as well.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido the executive manager of the association stated that this trip reflects the association’s policy which aims at implementing activities and trips that target the poor children who suffered from wars are deprived from enjoying their time due to poverty. He added that children maintain the full right to live with dignity and freedom like other children in the world. Abu Sido pointed out that the activities of the summer camps were various and wonderful and teach them self-confidence, competitive morale and life skills. Also, these recreational activities and games aims to break the ice, develop the participants ‘mental abilities and brush up on their skills.
