Rowad Society for Social Development continues implementing the project of distribution food parcels to marginalized families. This project is implemented with generous funding from the Al-Sadaka Tashi Foundation in Turkey. The number of beneficiaries exceeded 200 families at the level of Gaza City.

The executive manger of the society, Mohammed Abu Sido, said that this project aims to provide the basic foodstuffs needed by the Palestinian family, which will meet the needs of their children under the difficult life conditions , and to realize the meanings of community solidarity and human solidarity and to strengthen the bonds of love between people to ease their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan.

He also called on all local and international institutions to support the Palestinian families to enable them to overcome the difficult economic and humanitarian challenges. He stressed that humanitarian and social efforts must be strengthened to end the deprivation and marginalization of a large segment of families that cannot fulfill their responsibilities and do not play their role as a result of their difficult living situation in which the Gazans live.

Abu Siddo also thanked SadkaTasi Foundation for its continued support to the Palestinian people, pointing out that this is evidence of the deep sense of responsibility of brotherhood feeling and it indicates a spirit of solidarity.

Rowad focuses on the concept of social justice, enhancing compassion, instilling happiness in the hearts of the poor and rooting out the deprivation of their lives as much as possible. Food is the most expensive and essential need for the people and poor people can bear starvation but their children cannot.
