Rowad carried out a lecture titled "prisoner of experience" for the youth category

Rowad Association for Community Development has organized for a lecture on the Palestinian cause entitled “The experience of prisoner " to the category of youth as part of the summer camps of Rowad which was launched by the association last week, where twenty four male youth participated in the lecture.

 

This lecture comes at a time when administrative prisoners has launched an open hunger strike for the Fifty seventh day in a row in Israeli jails, which is entitled “water and salt” where the prisoners only have water and salt in order to keep their intestines not rotten.
 

The lecturer Saher Shtayyeh, a freed detainee who is originally from  Nablus but deported to Gaza, stated  that this lecture aims to give a glimpse of the lives of families and the extent of the suffering and pain experienced by our people prisoners in Israeli jails, especially the open hunger strike. The lecture tackled any point such as introducing Israeli occupation prisons, the number of Palestinian prisoners i.e. the number of young people, women and children's prisons, the processes of interrogation and torture inside prisons. Shtayyeh also pointed to stories on some of the most painful types of torture and extortion practices of by Israeli jailer, as well as attempts by the security projection.



For his part, praised Mohamed Abu Sido Assembly to ask the director of the wonderful Shtayyeh to the issue of prisoners of war and martyrdom of some events and stories within families and Astneadh to discourage young people, also pointed to the importance of this lecture, which illuminate the vision of youth and you know by prisoners today.



It is worth mentioning that the Rowad Association equips itself for the launch of the effectiveness of the pioneers of Sports Marathon next Assembly and in solidarity with the prisoners on hunger strike administrators.
