Rowad carried out a training on "learning through playing" for kids

As part of the summer camps of Rowad which was launched last week, Rowad Association for Community Development RACD and Jabalia Youth Development Center both have  implemented a training course  for kids  which was entitled "learning skills by playing" where twenty-four kids participated in the course.


The trainer, Mohammed Madhoun, mentioned that this session is considered as a guided activity done by children and aims at developing their behavior, mental, physical and emotional abilities, and achieve at the same time fun and entertainment. This learning style makes use of playing activities in order to help in the acquisition of knowledge, simplification of the principles of science to children and expand their knowledge horizons.

 

The course included several activities, including puppets, kinetic games, intelligence games, singing analog representation, and cultural stories, songs and games.
For his part, the executive manager of the association, Mohammed Abu Sido, stressed on the importance of this course, which is an educational tool to assist in the creation of individual interaction with the elements of the environment for the purpose of learning and personal development and behavior, as the course is designed to activate the mental capacity and improve creative talent among children.
