Rowad launches a training course in “ Labor market skills” for youth

As a part of its summer camps ,Rowad Association for Community Development in cooperation  with Jabalia Youth Development Centre launches a  twenty -four hour training course entitled” Labor market skills” where twenty five undergraduate and graduate youth participated in. The course is going to last for a whole month and is going to introduce: CV writing skills in English and Arabic, passing the interviews, self-marketing skills, secretarial skills, electronic marketing correspondence, public relations skills, etiquette  , presentation skills and networking skills.

 

The trainer Mr. Haidar Al Nakhala stated that this course aims at training the youth on marketing themselves in the labor market in order to pursue a job as the association seeks creating effective and capable youth who are able to hold their responsibilities, and integrate them in the both sectors of labor market: public and private.

 

For his part, the executive manager of the association, Mohammed Abu Sido, stressed on the importance of this course in equipping the youth participant s with job hunting skills. He added that this course will help the participants in having jobs in the public and private sectors or at least open their own business. Also, the former mentioned that this project comes as a part of the series of training courses organize and sponsored  by the RACD and JYDC which aims at developing the youth managerial and life skills in order to face the labor market confidently and attain their position in the society.
