Based on an invitation form Ehya Dar Association, Rowad Association delegation represented in Yaser Al Shanti, Osama Abdo and Raed Al Saati visited turkey. The visit included many interviews, official and nongovernmental meetings.

The delegation met with Mr. Harown, head of board of directors in Ehya Dar Association and Mr. Saati talked about the critical situation that Gazans live in, especially in the light of the tight siege. He discussed with Mr. Harown the projects that Rowad is implementing, which serves all categories of the Palestinian society to alleviate their sufferings in all fields. From his side, Mr. Harown expressed his appreciation for the role of Rowad for its sincere efforts.

After the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Otshan, head of youth department in Justice and Development Party. Mr. Abdo talked about the services and projects that Rowad conducts to support the Palestinian youth and promote their skills through training courses and workshops in the training center in the association, besides projects related to fresh graduates. In the end of the meeting, Mr. Otshan expressed his astonishment for the creative models in Gaza Strip, and he mentioned that Gaza is full of outstanding and creative mentalities and they, in the party, are ready to support such skills.  

The delegation also met with Sadakatasi and it was a constructive meeting. The delegation discussed the idea of the Turkish Cultural Center planned to be established in Gaza by Sadakatasi. Moreover, the center's objectives, programs and plans were discussed. Mr. Al Shanti talked about the importance of this project in developing the proficiency of Palestinian youth in all scientific and vocational domains and contributing in preparing young cadre able to work in the local and international markets.  In the end of the meeting, Mr, Al Shanti thanked Sadakatasi for their continuing support for all Palestinians

During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Hassan Kamal, head of Saint Jack Tabi municipality, who thanked Rowad Association for its role in serving the Gazans. He stressed that they will continue in supporting the Palestinian people, and he added, "What we offer for Gaza is not compared with sacrifices the Gazan people make". In the end, Rowad delegation presented an honorary shield for the municipality to express the appreciation of the Gazan towards the Turkish support.

The delegation also met with many figure and associations as the grandson of Sultan Abdulhamed, visiting Al Emam Al Khattib School, visiting the cultural center of Escada municipality, and meeting with head of industrial union in Al Omraniya. The delegation honored all the aforementioned sides with the Palestinian men head cover.

From his side, Mr Al Shanti, on behalf of the delegation, expressed his thanks for all those who support Gaza through supporting the projects that Rowad implements. He stressed that the Rowad will continue in making the deprived people happier and supporting the steadfastness of our people through sponsorships and microenterprises. Finally, he invited all charitable sides to continue in helping the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza who live in miserable conditions.

Mr. Abdo said that this visit comes within Rowad policy to establish partnership and cooperation with donors outside, particularly Turkey that exerts all its efforts to serve the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Al Saati expressed his happiness for the generous reception Rowad received in Turkey, and he invited the Turkish brothers and associations to visit Gaza to experience what Gazans live in.
