Funded by The Turkish Sadaqa Tashi, Rowad Association for Community Development received a convoy of aids full of blankets. The association is going to distribute them next week on the poor and affected people at the level of Gaza strip.

Mr. Mohammad Abu Sido, the director of the association, stated that this initiative is part of “Warm winter project” which is implemented by the association every year. The project is funded by the philanthropists and benevolent societies who are concerned about the besieged Gaza.

Abu Sido elaborated that the project matches with the association’s policy that aims at supporting the poor and marginalized especially under the deteriorating living conditions i.e. the tightening siege and the beginning of winter season which escalated their misery.

From their part, the chairman of the association Mr. Belal Bukheit stated that the distribution aims at alleviating the suffering of the needy families as it targets the people of abject poverty at the level of the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Bukheit expressed his full thanks and appreciation for his counterparts in Turkish Sadaqa association for supporting and sponsoring the project; hoping that the funding of this project will continue to support the poor of besieged Gaza.
