As a part of “Warm Winter” project, Rowad Association for Community Development has launched its initiative to support the affected and poor families in the Gaza strip as a result of the last aggression on Gaza. Sponsored by Turkish Sadaqa Tashi, Rowad distributes hundreds of blankets on the poor associations on the poor families in the Gaza Strip where every family gets three blankets.

This is the first level then the distribution is going to take place in all the rest of the governorates at the level of the Gaza Strip.

The director of the association Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido said that the project matches with the association’s policy that aims at supporting the poor and marginalized especially under the deteriorating living conditions i.e. the tightening siege and the beginning of winter season which escalated their misery.

Mr. Abo Sido mentioned that the distribution aims at alleviating the suffering of the needy families since it targets a large spectrum of the abject poor in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, Mr. Abu Sido expressed his full thanks and appreciation for his counterparts at Turkish Association of SadaqaTashi for sponsoring and supporting the steadfastness of the poor in the Gaza Strip.

It is worth mentioning that the second phase of the association covered the north area of Gaza and then the middle and south areas of the Gaza Strip.
