Rowad Association for Community Development today has completed distributing of financial aid to poor families, where the number of beneficiaries of the project is two hundred poor families in Gaza City.

The implementation of this project came along other Ramadan charity projects carried out by the association, which included food parcels, Iftars project and Takaful charity campaign and distribution of Zakat al-Fitr.

Mr. Mohammed Abu Sido ,director of the association, said that the distribution of this aid comes in the context of the association’s relentless efforts  to alleviate the economic burdens from the shoulders of poor and needy families in light of the continued Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip for years, stressing on the associations’commitment toward  these poor families in order to support steadfastness and ease their suffering, calling at the same time, all institutions, charities and philanthropists and charity to support poor families and extending a helping hand to them .Also, Abu Sido confirmed that the association continues to serve these families in all fields, especially the areas of relief and will make every effort to provide every possible  aid and services.

From their part, the  poor families expressed their full thanks and appreciation to the association for its services and endeavors  to support them and called on other social associations to keep inspecting their situation
