Within Tamkeen project for soft loans, Rowad Society for Social Development distributed checks of free-interest loans to the  small business owners who applied for this project implemented by the society and funded by Viva Palestina Malaysia at Rowad’s headquarters in Gaza.

 
At the presence of Eng.Mohammed Abosido, Rowad’s executive manager, and Eng. Mohammed Abosido, Viva Palestina Malaysia’s representative, 6 owners of small business that were matched with  the terms and standards of good lending previously announced by Rowad and  approved by the a competent committee received their checks  at Rowad’s headquarters. The owners of small business were interviewed and their projects were evaluated by a field visit before receiving their checks.

 
This project cope with the society’s policy aiming to enhance the social development in the Palestinian society, enable the heads of families to support them, offering them sources of income to overcome their life’s difficulties especially under the difficult economic situation and living conditions in which the Gazans go.

The projects were selected from various   governorates in the Gaza Strip including a Chinese accessories store, a network games project, a printing project, a public transportation project and two grocery projects.
