Rowad Association for Community Development finished a lecture entitled "Reading is a method of life" for youth and juniors. The lecture comes within Pioneers program, which was launched in the middle of June 2013, and it was attended by 24 young persons and 15 juniors.  

The lecturer, Hassan Abu Muter, said that the lecture aimed at enriching the minds and raising people on many virtues such as patience. He added that reading gives people wide experiences and helps them to search and investigate. The lecture included topics as definition of reading, its importance, its types, and methods of smart reading, bedsides how to select the appropriate book, reading difficulties and how to solve them.

After that, the audience went to Gaza Municipality library for the practical implications. Mr. Hassan Abu Attaya, library director, received the visitors and provided them with brief information about establishing the library and he talked about the necessity of having libraries and the importance of reading. Abu Attaya invited the youth and juniors to delve deep in different sciences and visit libraries, particularly in a time that most people abandon them to use the internet. He stressed that many benefits are exist in the books not in the world web.  

From his side, Mohammed Abu Sido, director of the association  thanked Mr. Abu Muter for his attendance and performance. He encouraged the target groups to take as much as they can through reading, as it is the tool for distinction, creativity and higher position. Abu Side added that reading is the food of minds as bodies have their food and without reading, the mind will be empty and useless.

It is worth mentioning that Rowad finished lately a lecture entitled "The Experience of Imprisonment" for young people.
