Rowad organizes a lecture about "The Experience of Imprisonment"

Rowad Development for Community Development finished a lecture entitled "The Experience of Imprisonment" for young people. The lecture comes within Pioneers program, which was launched in the middle of June 2013, and it was attended by 24 young persons. 

Mr. Tawfiq Abu Naem, head of Waed Association for Prisoners' Affairs and head of Released Prisoners Association, and he is a released prisoner, said that the lecture aimed at giving a glance about the life of prisoners and their sufferings in the Israeli jails. The lecture included many topics as the Israeli jails, number of Palestinian prisoners, investigation and torture procedures. Abu Naem also referred to some painful stories about torturing and blackmailing by Israeli authorities, besides collaboration with enemy.

From his side, Mohammed Abu Sido, director of the association , appreciated the role of Mr. Abu Naem in delivering this significant lecture, especially talking about prisoners and using real stories and experiences. He referred to the importance of such lecture as it enlightens the young minds and introduces them to the agony of prisoners and ways of liberating them. It also teaches young people how to assume their responsibilities towards prisoners case as liberating prisoners has the priority over liberating Al Aqsa Mosque because those freed prisoners will work on liberating the mosque. Abu Side announced that the association aims at holding more courses and cultural seminars that promote the youth and their abilities.
