In Gaza, there is a prevalent feeling of death in every single moment due to the brutality of the Zionist aggressive enemy which expanded its targets circle against innocent people in the Gaza Strip via launching a new military offensive on Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan. To illustrate, since the Zionist enemy  failed in stopping the Palestinian  popular outrage in the West Bank and Jerusalem in response to the burning of the young Palestinian child Mohammed Abu Khudeir, it targeted Gaza instead  via its war planes which demolished the houses of innocent civilians i.e. women, children and elderly, at the midnight. Therefore, instead of eliminating the resistance in Gaza, Israelis targeted the house of innocent civilians and children which indicates the futility of this operation.

Not frightened

As a part of its destructive policy, the Israeli occupation targeted the houses of the resistance activists and Abu Jarad family was not an exception. The eleven member family received a telephone call from someone called Shlomo from IOF who ordered them to evacuate their house immediately because it’s going to be targeted.  Ms. Um Albaraa Abu Jarad said: At first, I told them that it will not leave, turned off the cellphones and stayed here. In the next morning, when I turned on the cellphone again they a woman’s voice told me: “You don’t understand  ... How many times we told you that the house is going to be targeted?” and I replied that I won’t leave my house. So, the Israeli warplanes targeted my house two-story house was levelled with ground.  Luckily, I was at my work and none of my kids was there too”.

If the family was inside the house during the airstrike, they all would be martyrs as their house was targeted with four rockets and levelled with the ground.

Um Albara, whose heart was deeply bleeding for the loss of it house; the representation of safety and life said sadly: “Targeting the houses is a clear evidence of the Zionist arrogance, weakness and its meanness since it sheds the blood of children”.

This turbulence of the Israeli war machines and targeting the house and mosques indicates its lack of having real terrorist targets putting into consideration that most of the death and casualties were women and children.

Al Zaabout family is one of families that have the largest share of misery as their house, located in Al Zaytoon neighborhood –East Gaza, was targeted at Suhoor time without being warned in prior.

We were inside!

These inhabited buildings represent life as a whole for its residents, and once being targeted the hearts of its owners too. However, this will not undermine their steadfastness and determination as most of the owners of targeted houses confirmed.

Hatem Juda, an owner of a four story house located in Rafah – South the Gaza Strip that was levelled to the ground, said: “We are in the holy month of Ramadan but we did not sleep because of the ongoing Zionist bombardment around us which targeted the lands and houses”.

Juda added: “More than 30 people were residing in that building when we had a warning call from Israeli ordering us to evacuate the house in five minutes. However, a guide rocket hit the house only after two minutes and what we saved from the house was only our children, clothes and ourselves”.

This building was the residence of martyr’s family i.e. wife and children, men and elderly as well. The martyr’s widow Ms. Juda said that after she held her four kids and had moved 100 meter far away from the house, the building was struck by four Zionist rockets and levelled to the ground.

As a result of the horrible massacres committed by the Israeli war machines, have been targeting innocent families like Kawarea and Hamad, plenty of civilian houses which are full civilians and children residents still waiting their turn to be targeted.
