In continuation of its Ramadan projects implemented by the association, Rowad Association for Community Development finished distributing dozens of food parcels on the poor and needy people in Gaza city, which was funded by Ihya Dar Society –Turkey.

The executive   manager of the association Mohammed Abu Sido stated that the food parcels project is the first from Ramadan charity projects which are going to be implemented in the coming days such as: Iftar project, zakat Al fitr project, Eid clothes project and orphans sponsorships’ project.

He also stressed on his association’s commitment towards supporting the needy families and serving the besieged Palestinian people at these critical times. Abu Sido also urged all the associations and philanthropists inside and outside Gaza Strips to support these poor families.  He mentioned that RACD is going to distribute Zakat Al Fitr on the poor families in the coming days.

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their full thanks and appreciation to Rowad and Ihya Dar for their generous donations, and urged them to continue their efforts to alleviate their suffering.
