Rowad Association for Community Development has sponsored the radio program of “Wa Rattel Al Quran” (recite the holy Quran) which is aired on Al Quds Radio, a local radio station. The sponsorship covers the cash rewards for the winners in the competition of reciting the holy Quran.

The media and public relations coordinator in Al Quds Radio Nabil Saqallah stated that the recitations of the participants in the program are evaluated according to perfection of the recitation and the voice beauty.

The executive manager of the association Mohammed Abu Sido stated that this sponsorship arises from the policy of RACD which aims at serving the holy Quran. He added that the association served the holy Quran in many ways via implementing a lot of projects such as sponsoring the Quran teachers, circles of reciting Quran and Quran completions in addition to organizing Quran competitions.

In the same context, Rowad has launched the second solidarity campaign which aims at receiving in-kind and cash donation for the poor and needy people during the holy month of Ramadan.
