In these days, Rowad is preparing for distributing hundreds of food parcels on the poor and needy in Gaza City, as a part of the association’s projects and programs implemented during the holy month of Ramadan.

The implementation of such projects rise from the RACD which aims at alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the tightened siege and salaries crisis.

The executive   manager of the association Mohammed Abu Sido stated that the food parcels project is the first from Ramadan charity projects which are going to be implemented in the coming days such as: Iftar project, zakat Al fitr project and Eid clothes project.

 Mr. Abu Sido urged all the charity associations and philanthropists inside and outside the Gaza strip to conjugate their efforts to support the poor families in the Gaza Strip and support their steadfastness, so they can live happily with dignity. He also stressed on his association’s commitment towards supporting the needy families and serving the besieged Palestinian people. Abu Sido concluded by appreciating and thanking all the efforts exerted in alleviating the suffering of our Palestinian people.

In the same context, last week Rowad association distributed food parcels with a generous fund from the Omani Initiative to Support Palestine.
