With support from Omani initiative, Rowad distributes hundreds of school bags to poor in Gaza

 Rowad Society for Social Development distributed school bags to the poor students in Gaza as a part of a series of relief programs that Rowad is working on with generous funding from the Omani Initiative for Supporting Palestine benefiting more than 100 students from the West of Gaza Strip.

 

Rabah Bakhit, the chairman of the board of the directors, said that the implementation of this project is a humanitarian and moral duty undertaken by the society and Rowad is keen to implement it for years in a row to alleviate the burdens of life of the poor and needy students, especially under the difficult living conditions experienced by the Strip. He also confirmed that such projects are in line with Rowad’s goals and humanitarian message to towards the needy families to ease their burden in light of the deteriorating living and economic conditions.

 

For his part, Eng. Mohammed Abu Siddo, Rowad’s executive manager, said that Rowad attaches great importance to the students and this project aims to alleviate the burdens and the school commitments of the needy families and encourage them to let their children join the school.
