With support from Viva, Rowad opens the summer camp "Enjoy and Learn to Swim 2”
Gaza - Rowad - Rowad Society for Social Development opened the summer camp "Enjoy and Learn to Swim" for the second consecutive season that is implemented by the North Gaza Cultural Center and funded by the Viva Palestina Malaysia Foundation, where 130 students from different areas of Gaza City participated.
This summer camp aims to teach the students the basic swimming skills of diving, kayaking, swimming and other skills, in addition to some high skills such as jumping from heights and performing special water movements. Abu Sido stressed that this camp comes in line with the goals of the society’s goals in supporting the students’ sport skills.
For his side, Hani Thuraya thanked Rowad society for its outstanding performance in supervising the summer camp. He also admired the performance of the students in swimming lessons. He noted that Viva Palestina cares about the psychological and recreational aspects of the Gazan students and it is happy to draw the smile and joy on the faces of the students.
