With the support of the Foundation Vivia Palestina Malaysia,and in cooperation with the Youth Media Center,  Rowad society for Community Development organized a training day  titled with "self-employment/ Freelance work  through social media sites," which talked about the reality of self-employment in the Gaza Strip and the ways of development and aids for the building of creative personality, that can challenge the difficult life’s conditions.

At the opening of the day, Mr. Rabbah Behkit, the head of society, talked about the importance of youth exploitation and development of their abilities to prove themselves. He also talked about the prominent role of the society to empower and support young people through implementing programs and projects,
and he showed some examples about self-made successful and wealthy people who could change their life and be successful . At the end of his speech, Mr. Bekhit thanked the foundation of Viva and the Media center for their contribution to make the day successful.

Mr. Hani Toria, the director of Viva Palestine foundation, also talked about the importance of benefit of the youth power and the role of foundations in  supporting and embowering women and providing temporary jobs for the graduates  through social media sites. In the first session that is titled “  The basics of self-employment through the Internet “ Eng. Khalil Salim talked about the importance of electronic freelance job and its role in improving the youth abilities. He also talked about the poor economic conditions in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli blockade where he gave examples of people who could economically improve themselves by the freelance jobs and become prominent characters in this field. Mr.Saleem some advices to social media sites users like the importance of having their own produce to make a good marketing for them through these sites.

In the Second Session, which was led by Mr Khaled Safi entitled "How to make a good marketing plan for  yourself" , Mr Khaled talked about the ways of successful marketing through social networking sites providing successful examples of this marketing and  the most important qualities that each participant should has . He also highlighted the importance of   respecting the competitors in the same field. He concluded the training  by showing success stories for some youth as  Hanan Khashab, Hamdan Abu Taima and Wassim al-Atrash.
